Just confirmed that Yolanda Charles will be playing bass for Mary Pearce.
Yolanda is probably most well-known for being Robbie Williams' bass player but also (all over YouTube) Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart, Paul Weller, Gabrielle, Alison Moyet, KD Lang, BB King et al.
Mary Pearce is one of London busiest and most experienced vocalists and has worked prolifically with some of the most recognised names in today's industry. She regularly performs live as both lead and backing vocalist throughout the UK and extensively in major cities worldwide. Since 1992 she has worked with artists such as Lionel Ritchie, Grace Jones, Courtney Pine, Boy George and Donna Summer. Her love for the stage and passion for singing has lead her to work with Andy Hay on the touring production of “Hold On”. As a solo artist Mary featured and enjoyed success with Leeds based outfit “Up Yer Ronson”. Live/Touring performances: include Primal Sceam, Beverly Night, Kubb, Chaka Khan, Culture Club, Donna Summer, Roy Ayers, Shola Ama to name but a few. Most recently Mary’s phenomenal voice features on Calvin Harris’ hit single “Ready for the weekend”.
