Artists Performing:

The PROOF, featuring Paul Cox/Roger Cotton
Micky Moody
Brad Cole

The Proof came about after backing both Paul Cox and Charlie Fabert on several tours and decided after the last tour that they should record together as a fully formed band in their own right.

Paul Cox is one of the best showmen and singers around today. Equally at home with Soul and Blues songs, and more than capable of Rockin’ it up, he has been described by DJ and Blues Band legend Paul Jones as having “ one of the best voices in the UK.” Paul has an impressive track record, playing with great guitar players including Snowy White, Ray Minhinnett, Henry McCulloch, the late John Slaughter, and recently French guitarist Charlie Fabert.

Paul is a regular at venues and festivals across the UK and Europe , including Montreux, Ronnie Scott’s, the London Palladium, and the Royal Festival Hall. He has opened for some of the greatest artists in the world, including Ray Charles and Eric Clapton, and sung with Paul Rogers, Bonnie Tyler, Sam Brown, Ruby Turner, and Debbie Bonham.

Brad Cole

In 2012, Brad Cole released his third solo album, Down The Line. Recorded in Nashville, the album captures a soulful Americana sound—the product of late night bossa nova jams and soaking up his host city’s country roots.

Compared to Cole’s previous albums, Exile (2010) and Highway 200 (2008), Down The Line is a quiet record, abundant with space. “I think it’s a reflection of being able to empty a lot of the noise from my head and run directly with what my muse was giving me,” says Cole. “It addresses the emotions of being uprooted and unstable, but somehow a message of hope prevails.”

The last 12 months have been fruitful for Cole, playing over 100 shows and sharing the stage with great artists like Dan Navarro, Ellis Paul, Lisa Loeb, Shovels and Rope, Amy Speace and Muriel Anderson.

Micky Moody

contact details:

Michael Joseph "Micky" Moody (born 30 August 1950) is an English guitarist, and a former member of the rock bands Juicy Lucy and Whitesnake. He was also a founder-member of Snafu. Together with his former Whitesnake colleague Bernie Marsden he founded the Moody Marsden Band, and later, The Snakes. Along with Marsden and ex-Whitesnake bassist, Neil Murray, he formed Company of Snakes and M3 Classic Whitesnake with which they mainly performed early Whitesnake songs. From 2010 he has been working with Murray, guitarist Laurie Wisefield, drummer Harry James, singer Chris Ousey and keyboard player Michael Bramwell in Monsters of British Rock which has morphed into Snakecharmer with Adam Wakeman on keyboards.

Besides this, Moody has also toured with Roger Chapman, Frankie Miller and Chris Farlowe. He has also performed live alongside the likes of Eric Clapton, Alvin Lee, Mick Taylor, Bruce Dickinson, Sam Brown, Gary Brooker, Suggs, Dennis Locorriere, Paul Jones, P. P. Arnold, James Hunter, Rick Wakeman, Jon Lord, Newton Faulkner, Uriah Heep, Alice Cooper, Mark King, Alfie Boe, Sandi Thom, Brian Auger, Meat Loaf, Boy George, Elkie Brooks, Nona Hendryx, and one of his early guitar heroes, Duane Eddy. Since 2000 he has released several solo albums: I Eat Them For Breakfast (2000), Don't Blame Me (2006), Acoustic Journeyman (2007) and Electric Journeyman (2009).[1] A versatile guitarist, Moody has been an active session musician and his own website lists over 100 albums to which he has contributed musically. 2006 saw the release of the autobiographical Playing With Trumpets - A Rock 'n' Roll Apprenticeship, a memoir about his early days on the music scene.[2] His library music has been featured on such TV programmes as Waking the Dead, Bo' Selecta!, America's Next Top Model, How To Look Good Naked, Top Gear, Horizon, Jersey Shore, Mad Men and Wife Swap USA.

Brad Cole has just released his third solo album, Down The Line.

In addition, Cole was awarded:

*2012 Mountain Stage NewSong Regional Finalist
*2012 Falcon Ridge Grassy Hill Emerging Artist
*2012 NERFA (Folk Alliance North East) Quad Showcase.

*Down the Line’s “Butterfly” was awarded “finalist” honors in the 13th Annual Great American Songwriting Contest.

*Exile’s lead track, “Come Home” was named as a “top 10 finalist” in the prestigious 2011 Great Lakes Songwriting Competition.

Stylistic comparisons fall between John Hyatt and John Mayer but Cole uniquely delivers his own soulful slice of Americana with a groove.

For years, Cole has been a fixture on the Chicago music scene sharing the stage with such greats as Uncle Tupelo and Smashing Pumpkins. Cole led several Chicago based bands including Treatment, The Second Story and toured with NYC-based The Subscribers

Currently, based in New York City, Cole tours extensively with band or as a solo acoustic performer. Brad is a longtime member of Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music’s monthly “Songwriters Forum” and has done a series of residences in Chicago dubbed “Acoustic Circus”.
