For those of you that never saw the Small Faces live, this is as close as you're gonna get' - Stan Lane, Small Faces' Ronnie's brother
The journey started around the time of the 2006 Small Faces convention where Matt got up and did a few numbers with 'Dan's People' - Dan being their drummer. The idea was now firmly planted in Matt's mind and started to grow. Dan knew of 'Ronnie-a-like' Neil after standing in on drums for his band 'The DB5's' and Matt had previously been in an originals band with Jon 'hammond' Gray, so they didn't have to look far for the right organ grinder!

"Really great, absolutely spot-on"
- Kenney Jones (Small Face)
My Dad would have been thrilled to bits about it, he really liked working with younger people, and specially musicians, who he thought appreciated his humour - and it kept him young all his life. It has been really great for me to keep his memory alive.
All the best, and 'Deep Joy' from me and all the Unwin family!
I really do think you're a great band, and you're welcome to quote me on that if it's of any use to you!
- John Unwin (son of narrator of Ogdens Nut Gone Flake: Stanley Unwin)
