Beautiful mechanica

To describe beautiful mechanica's music, one need look no further than the name. Fusing synthesis and electronica with beauty and dark romanticism, the desire to inspire and effect emotion is the impetus for the band.
beautiful mechanica are resolute in being unaffected by the sounds and styles of any given time - be it now or the past. Whilst those who love the electronica of new wave and the new romantics will find much to feel at home with, the songs are as contemporary as they revivalist - the ambition being only that each is as unique and affecting as possible.
beautiful mechanica are:
graham sampson (vocal/programming/keys/guitar)
porcelain (keys/vocals)
van naarden (guitars)

Independent Venue Week is a 7 day celebration of small music venues around the UK and a nod to the people that own, run and work in them, week in, week out. These venues are the backbone of the live music scene in this country and Independent Venue Week wants to recognise all that they have done to create some of the most memorable nights of the past so they can continue to do the same in the future.
