Legendary Irish Singer songwriter returns to The Half Moon
At nineteen, Declan made his major musical debut as a guitarist with Horslips, and after two years with the group moved on to enjoy successful spells with Gandydancer, Homegrown, Southpaw and the much acclaimed Moving Hearts. In 1982, he joined Christy Moore's band, and has augmented that position with musical director and production roles for some of Ireland's top musicians. He is still playing and touring with Christy Moore. At recent concerts Sinnott has performed "Corrina, Corrina" as well as "St. Louis Blues" and "Lord Franklin". He played to a full house in Wexfords Arts Centre on his homecoming gig in July 2012, one night after his sell out show with Christy in Galway. He's just played a sold out show with Christy at the Royal Festival Hall.
