Once again, Jokers Pack will be supporting Dr. Feelgood at the HM on the 13th & 14th May.
Canvey Island, Essex, was an unlikely birthplace for Britain's finest R&B band. Its bleak industrial skyline set against the cold waters of the Thames estuary, keeps it from inclusion in most holiday brochures, but in the 1960's it was home to teenage friends Lee Collinson, Chris White and John Sparkes.
Originally formed in 1996 by Dave 'Joker' Lawes (The Rapiers, Freddie & The Dreamers) on Rhythm Guitar / Vocals and Nic Clacy on Lead Guitar (The Blue Jabs, Nick Cash & The Valuables) Jokers Pack established an enthusiastic following around the southern shires for several years with their light-hearted delivery of 60's flavoured R&B.
Following a short ten year break, the Pack are back, having joined forces with the legendary Derek Bond (Derrie Wilkie & The Pressmen, Screaming Lord Sutch & The Savages) and the excellent, but slightly unpredictable, Frank Skully (The Keith Emerson Band) on drums.
The line up has changed since those early days but these doctors still have the Feelgood factor!
Touring pretty much continuously since 1973, Dr Feelgood always give 100% of the finest British rhythm and blues to make you feel good. Performing such hits as including "Milk & Alcohol", "Down At The Doctors" and "Roxette", the Doctors will see you now!
